Sandy Township Clean Up Day 2008

Friday May 16 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm and Saturday May 17 from 8:00 am unil noon, Sandy Township residents can drop off freaon and non-freon appliances as well as other bulk items including furniture, lawn mowers, mattresses, TV's and computers at the Sandy Township Municipal Building at the corner of 12th and Chestnut Streets.

Clearfield County RX Prescription Discount Card

The Clearfield County RX Prescription Discount Card is now available at the Sandy Township Municipal Building. All residents of Clearfield County are eligible for the 20% discount offered by this card, for any of your perscriptions not covered by insurance. There is no paperwork to fill out, or anything to sign, just stop by and pick one up.

Do you need a permit?

If you are in need of a permit, and want to save some time, go to our forms page and print off the Zoning Permit Application and have it filled out when you come in for your appointment with our zoning officer. It is always best to call to set up an appointment with the zoning officer, as he is in and out of the office through out the day.

Free Gun Locks

The Sandy Township Police Department in conjunction with Project Child Safe is distributing free gun locks to Sandy Township residents. If you have guns in your home and would like the added security of a gun lock, you can stop by the Sandy Township Police Department or contact the Police Department Secretary durring normal business hours at 371-4220.

Effective immediately, all official Sandy Township Business will only be conducted during normal business hours of Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with the exception of holidays. All business, (including any documents received), transacted during any other day or time will be marked received as of the following business day. There will be no exceptions.
